Dr. Kelly Weidenbach, DrPH, MPH

Before becoming the Founding Executive Director for Adams County Health Department, Dr. Weidenbach served as the Planning and Information Management Director at Tri-County Health Department. Before coming to Colorado, she served as the executive director at a local health department in Wyoming and has extensive experience in state and local governmental public health agencies in Colorado and Wyoming. Dr. Weidenbach brings extensive knowledge and experience in public health agency operations, public health data and informatics, community-based planning, community engagement, and public health governance. In addition, she served as a board member of the Casper-Natrona County Board of Health in 2013 before becoming the executive director of that local health department.

Dr. Weidenbach holds a doctorate in public health, in health policy and management, from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She also has a master’s degree in public health in epidemiology from Emory University and two bachelor’s degrees in molecular biology and anthropology from the University of Wyoming.
