Frequently Asked Questions
To qualify for WIC, you must be:
- Pregnant
- Breastfeeding a baby under one year old
- Had a baby or was pregnant in the past six monthsA child younger than five years old
- Must live in Colorado
- Meet income requirements
If you receive Medicaid, TANF, SNAP, or FDPIR, you are automatically income eligible.
If you do not qualify for these programs, you may still qualify for WIC by meeting the income guidelines for your household.
The quickest way to sign up for WIC is by calling a WIC office closest to you. WIC staff will confirm your eligibility and schedule your first WIC appointment. WIC appointments can be completed in person or over the phone. All information is kept confidential.
